MBHH Strengthens Pediatric Specialty Care with the Launch of SPIA Center in Qatar

Doha, Qatar – Mohamed Bin Hamad Holding Company (MBHHC) continues to expand its commitment to specialized healthcare services in Qatar with the launch of the (SPIA) Specialized Pediatric Immunology & Allergy  Center, located at The Business Park, dedicated center focused on advanced care for children with  allergic and other immune disorders.
SPIA Center represents a significant step forward in pediatric specialty care, offering comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and long-term management services for children affected by allergies and other immune-related disorders. The clinic is equipped with modern medical infrastructure and is led by Prof. Amel Hassan, Pediatric Allergist & Immunologist (MBBS, MSc Pediatrics, FRCPCH), who has over 25 years of clinical experience and expertise in evidence-based, patient-centered care in Qatar and UK. 

As part of the MBHHC healthcare network, SPIA Center reflects the group’s broader vision of strengthening specialized medical services that address evolving healthcare needs within the community.
His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of Mohammed bin Hamad Holding, the mother company of SPIA Center, expressed his pride to inaugurate SPIA Clinic. H.E said that “This initiative aligns with our long-term mission to elevate healthcare standards through specialized centers of excellence in Qatar.”
His Excellency stressed that “With the addition of SPIA Center, MBHHC continues to strengthen its healthcare portfolio by investing in specialized medical expertise, advanced diagnostics, and compassionate care models. The clinic is expected to play an important role in enhancing pediatric healthcare outcomes and supporting Qatar’s vision for a healthier future.”
Prof. Amel Hassan, the Medical Director and Manager of SPIA Clinic, said that “SPIA Center has been established to provide comprehensive focused, high-quality care for children who require specialized immunology and allergy services,”
She added “driven by the mission to help children live healthy, confident, and allergy-free lives, SPIA Center offers a wide range of services, including pediatric allergy & Immune system evaluation, gastrointestinal system evaluation and evaluation of other systems affected by allergies such chest and skin allergic conditions.
SPIA, will deliver a comprehensive and patient centered approach, enabling precise diagnosis, advanced management and long-term care for children with allergic immune disorders. By integrating cutting-edge diagnostics with individualized treatment strategies, SPIA aims to set a new standard in the private allergy and immunology services.
